Functional description
The terminating resistor for the corresponding CAN bus is installed in the CAN terminator. In addition, a tap to ground with a resistor and a capacitator is installed to reduce high-frequency faults.
Ferrites are installed in the CAN terminator for all bus connections. Ferrites suppress high-frequency faults in the CAN data lines. This makes line lengths of up to 5 metres possible in the wiring harness.
