DSC unit
The DSC unit consists of the DSC control unit and a hydraulic unit. The DSC control unit activates the hydraulic unit via valve coils.

The DSC unit consists of:
- DSC control unit
- Housing with integrated piston pump (2 pistons)
- Pump motor
- Solenoid valves (total of 12)
- Brake pressure sensor
Solenoid valves are mounted in each braking circuit in sets of two (black-white distribution). One intake valve (de-energized open) and one discharge valve (de-energized closed). The control system employs the appropriate activation signals to modulate braking pressure at the front and rear wheels.
Changeover of the suction connections of the pump from the low pressure accumulators to the tandem brake master cylinder is performed via the electrical changeover valves.
This brake pressure sensor registers the braking pressure applied via the brake pedal and the brake servo. The brake pressure sensor has a measuring range from 0 to 250 bar. Following calibration, the baseline synchronization (offset) is executed only while the vehicle is moving and under specific conditions.
The DSC control unit receives Terminal 30 power three times (pump, solenoid valves and DSC logic). Power supply to the pump and solenoid valves is from the engine compartment power distribution box.
