Functional Description (F57): Adaptations: Notes

Adaptations enable automatic adaptations of parameters in the engine control unit software. As a result, engine control automatically adapts the component tolerances or adapts the values in the system. The "Reset all adaptation values" service function resets all adaptation values in the engine control unit to their original condition. A replaced teach-in of the values is carried out upon terminal change, engine running, partial load operation or full load operation, depending on the adaptation.
