Motor Relay

  1. Remove motor relay from hydraulic unit. Using a DVOM, measure resistance between terminals No. 85 and 86. See Fig 1 . Resistance should be 30-60 ohms.
  2. Check for continuity between terminals No. 30 and 87. There should be no continuity. Connect battery voltage between terminals No. 85 and 86. Check for continuity between terminals No. 30 and 87.
  3. Continuity should be present with approximately zero ohms. If DVOM does not read to specification, replace motor relay.
