Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the front center console.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the powertrain control module.

Engine Control Module (ECM) Location:

4. Remove the screws and remove the powertrain control module.
5. Reinstall in reverse order.

CAUTION: Do not connect or disconnect the powertrain control module connectors with the negative battery cable connected. A minor spark or Voltage surge can damage the powertrain control module.
