Control Module: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the front center console.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the transmission control module.
4. Remove the screws and remove the transmission control module.
5. Reinstall in reverse order.

CAUTION: Do not connect or disconnect the transmission control module connectors with the negative battery cable connected. A minor spark or voltage surge can damage the transmission control module.
