Operational Test

  1. With actuator connector disconnected, connect battery voltage to terminal No. 1. SeeFigure . Ground terminals No. 2 and 3. Connect ammeter between positive side of battery and terminal No. 1 of actuator connector.
  2. Apply 16 in. Hg vacuum to actuator. Vacuum should hold steady and ammeter should read .5-.6 amp. Disconnect ground from terminal No. 2 or 3. Vacuum should hold and ammeter should read .2-.4 amp. If actuator does not test correctly, replace actuator.
