For oil pump disassembly procedures, follow numbered steps in illustration. See Fig 1. For oil pump assembly procedures, follow numbers steps in illustration in reverse order. Letters in illustration refer to service point to observe while disassembling and assembling oil pump. Letters with arrows pointing towards letter refer to service points to be observed while performing that step of the assembly procedure. See ASSEMBLY SERVICE POINTS .
