Auto-Dimming Feature Test
- Be sure the ignition is on and that the mirror is on. The green LED light to the right of the main display switch will be lit when the mirror is on. If it's not, depress the "TEMP" side of the main display switch for 15 seconds.

- Cover the forward-facing light sensor on the back of the mirror with a black cloth.
- While in a well-lit area, make sure light strikes the sensor on the front of the mirror, simulating glare from vehicles behind you. The mirror will dim within 2 minutes if testing for the first time. If the mirror does not dim, replace the inside rear view mirror.
