VIN WRITING & VARIANT CODING FOR ECM REPLACEMENT - SERVICE MANUAL REVISION
PURPOSE
The information that it is necessary to write the VIN and perform variant coding when replacing the Engine Control Module (ECM) is incorrect in the applicable service manual. This Technical Service Bulletin provides the correct information.
