How To Open The TOPSTACK Manually

When a topstack is closed manually in an emergency, open the topstack according to the procedure below, and then perform check and troubleshooting procedures.
- Remove the speaker subwoofer trim of the rear seat back and take out the dedicated tool for the topstack.
- Remove the woofer and close the valve of the pump motor assembly.
- Remove the topstack cover clip and turn up the topstack cover so that the topstack linkage can be seen.
- Insert the dedicated tool into the hexagon hole and turn the tool downward to release the lock of the 5-bow.
- Raise the 5-bow and keep it open.
- Release the tonneau latch lock using the dedicated tool.

- Raise the tonneau panel, and insert the dedicated tool into the hinge hole to hold the tonneau panel in place.
- Remove the plug of the topstack storage space and check that the pump motor assembly valve is open.
- Remove the J hook and open the topstack by folding it backward from the header area.
- Remove the dedicated tool and close the tonneau panel.
- Lock the tonneau latch using the dedicated tool.
- Install the woofer.
- Place the dedicated tool on the rear speaker subwoofer trim, and then assemble the speaker subwoofer trim.
