Power Window Operating Current Check

  1. Remove the power window fuse to check that it is normal, and connect a multimeter as shown in the illustration.
  2. Raise a door window glass with the power window switch to measure the current during operation.

    Standard value: 7 A or less [Power supply voltage 14.5 ± 0.5V at 25°C (77°F)] 

    NOTE: If the power supply voltage does not meet the standard value, check and repair the generator and the battery. Then carry out this check again.

  3. If the value is outside the standard value, adjust the door window glass (Refer to DOOR WINDOW GLASS ADJUSTMENT  ).
