Removal And Installation: Notes

CAUTION:

When removing and installing the transaxle assembly, be careful not to drop the torque converter. In addition, do not remove the torque converter.
When the transaxle assembly is replaced, initialize the CVT learned value (Refer to INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE FOR CVT LEARNED VALUE ).

Pre-removal operation

Under Cover Front Removal (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
Transmission Fluid Draining (Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID REPLACEMENT ).
Engine Coolant Draining (Refer to ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT ).
Starter Motor Assembly Removal (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
Exhaust Manifold Removal (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
Drive Shaft Removal (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
Air Cleaner Assembly Removal (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
Battery and Battery Tray Removal (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).

Post-installation operation

Battery and Battery Tray Installation (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
Air Cleaner Assembly Installation (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
Drive Shaft Installation (Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
