EV DRIVE MODE
- The system transmits the driving force generated by the front motor.
- The engine and the generator stops.

SERIES HYBRID MODE
- The road wheels are driven by the front motor only. The engine drives the generator to generate electricity.
- The engine power is transmitted to the generator only (isolated from the drive train mechanism).
- The engine is started by the generator, which functions as a starter.

PARALLEL HYBRID MODE
- The clutch is engaged to transmit the engine power to the drive train mechanism.
- The speeds of all the gear shafts are synchronized with that of the engine.
- The front motor force is also transmitted to the drive train mechanism as power assistance.
- The clutch will be engaged when the vehicle speed reaches a certain speed.
