Fuel Pump

The ECCS control unit operates the electric fuel pump. When ignition switch is turned to the "ON" or "START" position, the fuel pump operates. If ignition is on and no signal is received from crank sensor for more than one second, the fuel pump stops. It will operate for 5 seconds before engine is cranked, and will then stop if engine is not cranked over at 20 RPM or more.
