Disconnect 16-pin connector. Measure the resistance between terminals No. 23 and 26. If resistance readings are okay, replace control unit. If not okay, check wiring harness. If harness is okay, place the sensor into water that is maintained at the specified temperature(s) in the COOLANT SENSOR TEMPERATURE/RESISTANCE RELATIONSHIP
