Fast Idle Control Device (FICD) Solenoid

Apply battery voltage to solenoid terminals. Solenoid should operate. Also check solenoid plunger for sticking and check for broken spring. Also see appropriate FAST IDLE CONTROL DEVICE (FICD) diagnostic chart.
