Airflow Meter: Notes

The hot wire type airflow meter used on Maxima, 200SX and 300ZX is located between the air filter and throttle valve assembly. On all other models except Stanza, the hot wire airflow sensor is incorporated into the TBI fuel injection unit. This system measures a partial amount of intake air. Stanza models use a potentiometer type airflow meter.
