Recommended Fluid

Use Hypoid SAE 75W-90 (API GL-4) gear oil for all transmissions, transaxles and transfer cases.

CAUTION: Transfer case on Pathfinder and Pickup is factory-filled with Dexron-II ATF. ATF can be replaced with Hypoid SAE 75W-90 (API GL-4) gear oil. DO NOT  mix gear oil and ATF.
