Differential Assembly: Disassembly

Remove ring gear. Using appropriate puller, adapter and drift, remove differential side bearings. Remove viscous coupling. Remove speedometer drive gear. Drive out pinion shaft retaining pin. Remove pinion shaft from differential case. Remove pinion gears and side gears. See Figure.
