DTC Confirmation Procedure
CAUTION:
Always drive vehicle at a safe speed.
NOTE:
If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 second before conducting the next test.
WITH CONSULT-II
- Turn ignition switch ON and select "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.
- Start engine and warm it up to the normal operating temperature.
- Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
- Start engine and keep the engine speed between 3, 500 and 4, 000 RPM for at least 1 minute under no load.
- Let engine idle for 1 minute.
- If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to Diagnostic Procedure .

Follow the procedure "WITH CONSULT-II" above.
