Door Switch Check

- CHECK FRONT DOOR SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
With CONSULT-II
Check front door switches ("DOOR SW-DR" and "DOOR SW-AS") in "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.
Without CONSULT-II
Check voltage between BCM connector and ground.

OK or NG
- OK: Front door switch is OK.
- NG: GO TO 2.
- CHECK FRONT DOOR SWITCH CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect front door switch LH or RH and BCM connector.
- Check continuity between front door switch connector B8 (LH) or B108 (RH) terminal 1 and BCM connector M18 terminal 12 and connector M20 terminal 62.Fig 5: Checking Continuity Between Terminal 1 Of Switch Connector B8 (LH) Or B108 (RH) And BCM Connectors M18 Terminal 12 Or M20 Terminal 62

- Front LH 1(GR/R) - 62 (GR/R): Continuity should exist.
- Front RH 1(GR/L) - 12 (GR/L): Continuity should exist.
- Check continuity between front door switch connector B8 (LH) or B108 (RH) terminal 1 and ground.
- 1(GR/R or GR/L) - Ground: Continuity should not exist.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 3.
- NG: Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK DOOR SWITCH
- Disconnect front door switch LH or RH.
- Check continuity between each front door switch terminal 1 and body ground part of front door switch.
OK or NG
- OK: Further inspection is necessary. Refer to SYMPTOM CHART .
- NG: Replace malfunctioning front door switch.
