Check Front Door Key Cylinder Switch

CHECK DOOR KEY CYLINDER SWITCH SIGNAL
With CONSULT-II

Check front door key cylinder switch ("KEY CYL LK-SW", "KEY CYL UN-SW") in DATA MONITOR mode in CONSULT-II. Refer to "DATA MONITOR ".
- When key inserted in front key cylinder is turned to LOCK:
  1. KEY CYL LK-SW : ON
- When key inserted in front key cylinder is turned to UNLOCK:
  1. KEY CYL UN-SW : ON

Without CONSULT-II

Check front door key cylinder switch operation in "SWITCH MONITOR" mode. Refer to "SWITCH MONITOR ".

OK or NG

OK >> System is OK.

NG >> GO TO 2.
CHECK DOOR KEY CYLINDER SWITCH
Check continuity between door key cylinder switch connector terminal.

OK or NG

OK >> Check the following:
- Harness between front key cylinder switch and driver door control unit
- Harness between front key cylinder switch and ground
NG >> Replace front door key cylinder switch.
