Diagnostic Procedure

CHECK OVERALL FUNCTION

Check ASCD indicator under the following conditions.

ASCD INDICATOR CONDITION SPECIFICATION

ASCD INDICATOR	CONDITION		SPECIFICATION
CRUISE LAMP	Ignition switch: ON	MAIN switch is pressed at first time -> second time	ON -> OFF
SET LAMP	MAIN switch: ON When vehicle is between 40 km/h (25 MPH) and 144 km/h (89 MPH)	ASCD is operating	ON
SET LAMP		ASCD is not operating	OFF

OK or NG

OK: INSPECTION END

NG: GO TO 2.

CHECK DTC
Check that DTC U1000 or U1001 is not displayed.

Yes or No

Yes: Perform trouble diagnoses for DTC U1000, U1001, refer to , "DTC U1000, U1001 CAN COMMUNICATION LINE ".

No: GO TO 3.
CHECK COMBINATION METER OPERATION
Does combination meter operate normally?

Yes or No

Yes: GO TO 4.

No: Check combination meter circuit. Refer to , "COMBINATION METERS ".
CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to , "TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS FOR INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".
