Component Function Check

CHECK REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER SWITCH FUNCTION
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check that the indicator lamp of rear window defogger illuminates with rear window defogger switch ON.
Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO STEP 2.

NO

Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .

CHECK REAR DEFOGGER ON STATUS

Using CONSULT, select "DATA MONITOR" in "REAR DEFOGGER" of "BCM".
Select "REAR DEF SW" and monitor while pressing the rear DEF switch ON and OFF.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Inspection End.
