Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove core support cover. Refer to Exploded View .
  2. Remove front air duct. Refer to Exploded View .
  3. Remove battery. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  4. Disconnect harness connector from electric intake valve timing control module.
    CAUTION: Never touch harness connector pins with bare hands.
  5. Remove electric intake valve timing control module bracket.
  6. Remove electric intake valve timing control module.
