1. |
Back door lock assembly |
Back door lock actuator locks/unlocks the back door latch assembly. Refer to Back Door Lock Assembly . |
|
2. |
Inside key antenna (luggage room) |
Inside key antenna (luggage room) detects whether Intelligent Key is inside the vehicle or not and then transmits the signal to the Intelligent Key unit. Refer to Inside Key Antenna . |
|
3. |
Rear door lock actuator RH |
Rear door lock actuator locks/unlocks the rear door latch assembly. Refer to Door Lock Assembly . |
|
4. |
Rear door request switch RH |
Refer to Door Request Switch . |
|
5. |
Outside key antenna RH |
Outside key antenna (RH) detects whether Intelligent Key is outside the vehicle or not and then transmits the signal to the BCM. Refer to Outside Key Antenna . |
|
6. |
Front door lock actuator RH |
Front door lock actuator locks/unlocks the front door latch assembly. Refer to Door Lock Assembly . |
|
7. |
Front door request switch RH |
Refer to Door Request Switch . |
|
8. |
Push-button ignition switch (NATS antenna amp.) |
Push-button ignition switch has push switch inside which detects that push-button ignition switch is pressed, and then transmits ON/OFF signal to BCM. BCM changes the ignition switch position with the operation of push-button ignition switch. BCM maintains the ignition switch position status while push-button ignition switch is not operated. Refer to NATS Antenna Amp. . |
|
9. |
Intelligent Key unit |
Refer to Intelligent Key Unit . |
|
10. |
Brake pedal position switch |
|
|
11. |

Refer to Hood switch . |
|
12. |
Horn (low) |
Horns are operated when the panic button on the Intelligent Key is pressed or the alarm is activated. |
|
13. |
Horn (high) |
Horns are operated when the panic button on the Intelligent Key is pressed or the alarm is activated. |
|
14. |
TCM (Transmission control module) |
Refer to Component Location for detailed component location. |
|
15. |
Stop lamp switch |
|
|
16. |
Electric shift control module |
Electric shift control module detects the shift lever status, transmits park position signal to the BCM. Refer to Component Location for detailed component location. |
|
17. |
BCM (Body Control Module) |
BCM controls INTELLIGENT KEY SYSTEM (ENGINE START FUNCTION), INFINITI VEHICLE IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-NATS [IVIS (NATS)] and VEHICLE SECURITY SYSTEM. BCM performs the ID verification between BCM and Intelligent Key when the Intelligent Key is carried into the detection area of inside key antenna, and push-button ignition switch is pressed. If the ID verification result is OK, ignition switch operation is available. Then, when the ignition switch is placed in the ON position, BCM performs ID verification between BCM and ECM. If the ID verification result is OK, ECM can start engine. Refer to Component Location for detailed component location. |
|
18. |
Inside key antenna (console) |
Inside key antenna (console) detects whether Intelligent Key is inside the vehicle or not, and then transmits the signal to the BCM. Refer to Inside Key Antenna . |
|
