Removal and Installation

REMOVAL 2WD 

1. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery. Refer to Battery Disconnect .
2. Remove shift selector finisher. Refer to Exploded View .
3. Disconnect the harness connectors from the switches on the shift selector finisher.
4. Using a suitable tool, release pawls and remove drive mode switch (1) from shift selector finisher (2).

REMOVAL 4WD 

1. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery. Refer to Battery Disconnect .
2. Remove shift selector finisher. Refer to Exploded View .
3. Disconnect the harness connectors from the switches on the shift selector finisher.
4. Using a suitable tool, release pawls and remove drive mode switch from shift selector finisher.

INSTALLATION 

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
