Programmer Control Lever, Adjust - Tempmatic Climate Control System

1. Remove glove box assembly.
2. Start and operate engine until choke opens and is off fast idle cam. Connect engine vacuum or equivalent to engine vacuum port of vacuum, checking relay for entire adjustment procedure.
3. Set control mode lever to "MAX." Move A/C control temperature lever so left end of programmer vacuum motor link is visible, even with edge of plastic cut out.
4. Refer to Fig. 1. Hold lever B to prevent movement. Insert flat bladed screw driver into adjusting slot C. Perform the following:
a. Turning screwdriver counterclockwise will raise front seat temperature to A/C control temperature lever setting.
b. Turning screwdriver clockwise will lower front seat temperature to A/C control temperature lever setting.
c. A 1/4 inch movement at D will produce 3 degrees of temperature change, a 1/2 inch movement at D will produce 6 degrees of temperature change. Movement of more than 1/2 inch will produce varying changes.
