Control Assembly: Service and Repair

Tempmatic Control Assembly Components:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. I.P. Vent Outlet Assembly (one-piece all vents).
3. Four screws securing Tempmatic Control Assembly to I.P.
4. Tempmatic control assembly and disconnect wiring behind assembly.
5. Three screws attaching housing to circuit board.
6. Wiring connecting housing to circuit board. Gently disconnect at housing.
7. Trim plate from housing (retained by clips).
8. Light pipe from back of trim plate.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Light pipe to back of trim plate.
2. Trim plate to housing.
3. Wiring connecting housing to circuit board.
4. Three screws attaching housing to circuit board.
5. Tempmatic control assembly and connect wiring behind assembly.
6. Four screws securing Tempmatic Control Assembly to I.P.
7. I.P. Vent Outlet Assembly (one-piece all vents).
8. Negative battery cable.
