Code B332, Loss Of Compass Module Data: Notes

Code B332 will set if the BCM cannot communication with the compass module for longer than 2 seconds.

1. Since the data circuit to the compass is spliced off the data loop, an open in circuit No. 800X will not stop the BCM from communicating with any of the other devices. However, if Code B337 is set, data from the BCM may not be getting to the programmer.
2. Determines is the code is intermittent.
3. Checks to see if the compass module has power and ground.
4. Determines if it is the 7 volt circuit or ground that is open.
5. Determines is the data circuit is open or if the compass module is bad.
