Note On Intermittents

If an intermittent Code E24 is being set, lift drive wheels and let vehicle idle in low gear. Manipulate the related wiring while observing engine data parameter P.1.2. If failure is induced, vehicle speed reading will drop from its normal value to reading of zero MPH. If wiring and connectors are okay, substitute a good known sensor and repeat testing procedure.
