Electronic Control Module & Cruise Control Module Operation

The ECM/cruise control module interprets position of servo, mode control switches and output of Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS). In response to these inputs, the module signals the opening or closing of the vent and vacuum solenoid valves in the servo. On most models, cruise control module is located behind left side of instrument panel.
