WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1990 Cadillac Fleetwood and 1990 Cadillac DeVille. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- During display of BCM data on FDC panel, (See BCM TROUBLE CODES DISPLAY ) the ECC panel will display a 2-digit number that represents various levels of heating and cooling effort. As "F.8.0" first appears on the FDC, the ECC panel will begin displaying the program number currently being used by the climate control system. As operating conditions change, number will automatically change in response.
- Automatic calculation of program number can be by-passed using the manual override feature, initiated by depressing WARMER and COOLER buttons on the ECC panel. This manual override system allows service technician to control program number between "0" (maximum A/C) and "100" (maximum heat), and simultaneously observe reaction of any BCM data parameter.
