Code E014, Coolant Sensor Temperature Too High: Notes
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
Test Number 1) Code E014 will set if signal voltage indicates a coolant temperature greater than 282°F (130°C) for .4 second.
Test Number 2) This test will determine if circuit No. 410 is shorted to ground which will cause the conditions for Code E014. If Code E014 is set, the ECM will use 119°F (48.6°C) for fuel control.
