Code E015, Coolant Sensor Temperature Too Low: Notes
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
Test Number 1) Code E015 will set if signal voltage indicates a coolant temperature less than -40°F (-40°C) for at least 2 seconds.
Test Number 2) This test simulates a Code E014. If the ECM recognizes the low signal voltage (high temperature), and the CTS display reads 130°C, the ECM and wiring are okay.
Test Number 3) This test will determine if circuit No. 410 is open. There should be 5 volts present at sensor connector if measured with a digital volt/ohmmeter. If Code E015 is set, the ECM will use 119°F (48.6°C) for fuel control.
