Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

MPFI Throttle Body:

REMOVAL:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly and fresh air duct.
3. Remove the MAF sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the 4 MAF attaching screws.
5. Remove MAF sensor.

NOTE: Do not attempt to remove the MAF sensor gasket. It is not removable, and is not serviced separately.

INSTALLATION:

1. Install the MAF sensor with attaching screws.
2. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
3. Install the air cleaner assembly and fresh air duct.
4. Connect the negative battery terminal.
