Remote Transmitter
NOTE:
The complete reprogramming procedure must be completed within 30 seconds of grounding the Vehicle Access Code (VAC) connector. If reprogramming procedure is not completed in 30 seconds, remove the ground from the connector and repeat procedure.
- Turn the ignition on.
- Ground Green single wire connector located at the RKE receiver module.See Figure .
- Wait for door locks to lock and unlock (should take 2 seconds).
- Press the Unlock button on the first transmitter twice (pause for one second between presses).
- Wait for door locks to lock and unlock (should take 2 seconds)
- Press the Unlock button on the second transmitter twice (pause for one second between presses).
- Wait for door locks to lock and unlock (should take 2 seconds).
- Remove ground from the Green connector.
After programming sequence is done, verify proper operation of all functions on both transmitters. If not proper operation, repeat programming procedure or refer to SYMPTOM INDEX .
