(1) Specifications are for new belts only. Measure tension with belt tension gauge.
(2) Engines with serpentine belts have automatic tensioner. If tension reading is not as specified, check belt's operating length or tensioner's operating range. Replace belt as necessary.
(3) Equipped with automatic idler pulley. Tension adjustment is necessary.
