Steering Column: Overhaul: Notes
CAUTION:
DO NOT strike steering shaft with hammer to remove steering wheel. Hammering could loosen the plastic injections which maintain column rigidity.

. Perform overhaul procedure with steering column removed from vehicle, and with steering wheel, combination switch and turn signal switch removed from column.
