Using Tech 1: Notes

NOTE: Tech 1 Diagnostic Computer (94-00101-A) with Bosch ABS ALDL Adapter, Pinout Box (J-35592) and High Impedance Multimeter will be needed to test parts of the ABS system.

1988-91 BRAKE cartridge must be inserted in TECH 1 to perform diagnostic procedures on anti-lock brake system. TECH 1 is plugged into ALDL connector before turning ignition on. A Bosch ABS adapter is required when testing Bosch 2U anti-lock brake system.
