Note On INTERMITTENTS

If an intermittent Code B113 is being set, check Code B113 snap data value for in-car temperature, BD25 display. If BD25 display value is less than -33°F (-36°C), code was caused by an open in circuit No. 734 or 736 or in-car temperature sensor. If BD25 value is greater than 206°F (97°C), code resulted from a short to ground on circuit No. 734 or a shorted in-car temperature sensor. Manipulate related wiring while observing BD25 display. If failure is induced, reading will jump from its normal value to a reading outside range of -33°F to 206°F (-36°C to 97°C).

If BD25 value is not reasonably close to corresponding temperature, check for poor terminal contact or replace sensor.
