Cruise Control Isolation Test
NOTE:
For module location, see CRUISE CONTROL MODULE R & I
under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Multifunction lever connector is located behind left side of instrument panel below steering column.
Using Quick Checker (J-34185) or a Digital Volt-Ohmmeter (DVOM), perform the specified cruise control isolation tests at cruise control module harness connector. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . Make all resistance tests with ignition switch off. If test results are okay, proceed to next step in isolation test chart. If test results are not to specification, proceed to test designated. If all test results are okay, go to SERVO ACTUATION TEST under TESTING.
