Test B (Power Circuit Open Test)

  1. Check RADIO fuse. Ensure cruise control module terminal "J" is grounded. Disconnect multifunction lever connector. Turn ignition on. Check for battery voltage at terminal "A" of harness half of connector. See Fig 1 .
  2. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, repair Yellow wire between multifunction lever connector terminal "A" and fuse block.
  3. Place cruise control main switch in ON position. Check continuity between multifunction lever connector terminals "A" and "D" (switch side). See Fig 1 . If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, replace multifunction lever.
  4. Check for open in Gray wire between cruise control module connector terminal "A" and multifunction lever connector terminal "D". Repair as necessary.
