Test No. 4, Seat Switch Input Test

  1. Disconnect left power seat switch connector. Using voltmeter, check for voltage between Orange wire at left power seat switch harness and ground. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, check PWR ST circuit breaker (25-amp) and PWR ST fuse (50-amp) located in rear fuse block. If circuit breaker and fuse are okay, repair open or short to ground in Orange wire between left power seat switch and fuse block.
  2. Check for voltage between Orange and Black wires at left power seat switch harness. If battery voltage exists, check for poor connections at left power seat switch and memory seat/memory mirror control module. If connections are okay, replace memory seat/memory mirror control module. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in Black ground wire.
