Test No. 10, Memory Control Isolation Test

  1. Turn ignition off. Connect jumper wire between memory seat/memory mirror diagnostic connector (located under driver's seat) and ground. One beep should be heard. If one beep is heard, go to next step. If beep is not heard, check wiring for open or poor ground connection. Also check for poor connection at memory seat/memory mirror control module connector C2 terminal D12 (Yellow/Black wire).
  2. Press memory set switch. Move memory set switch to position 1, then position 2. If one beep is heard each time switch is operated, go to TEST NO. 11, SEAT SENSOR RETURN TEST. If one beep is not heard each time switch is operated, go to TEST NO. 13, MEMORY SEAT/MEMORY MIRROR CONTROL INPUT TEST.
