Test No. 3, Seat Switch Input Test

  1. Disconnect left power seat switch connector. Connect test light between Orange wire at left power seat switch harness and ground. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, check FUSE 6A (15-amp). If fuse is okay, repair open or short to ground in Orange wire between left power seat switch and fuse block.
  2. Connect test light between Orange and Black wires at left power seat switch harness. If test light glows, check for poor connections at left power seat switch and memory seat/memory mirror control module. If connections are okay, replace memory seat/memory mirror control module. If test light does not glow, repair open in Black ground wire.
