One Mirror Does Not Operate In Up/Down Positions

  1. Disconnect inoperative power mirror connector. On left power mirror, connect test light between power mirror harness connector terminal "D" (Yellow wire) and ground. On right power mirror, connect test light between power mirror harness connector terminal "D" (Brown/White wire) and ground. With switch operating inoperative mirror, move power mirror switch to up position. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, check for poor connection or open in Yellow or Brown/White wire. If circuit is okay, replace power mirror switch.
  2. On left power mirror, connect test light between power mirror harness connector terminals "D" (Yellow wire) and "C" (Light Blue wire). On right power mirror, connect test light between power mirror harness connector terminals "D" (Brown/White wire) and "C" (Gray wire). While observing test light, move power mirror switch to up position. If test light glows, check for poor connections at inoperative mirror. If connections are okay, replace motor pack in inoperative mirror. If test light does not glow, repair poor connection or open in Light Blue or Gray wire.
