Theft Deterrent Relearn

NOTE:
If theft deterrent relearn procedure is not performed when Body Control Module (BCM) is replaced, vehicle may not be protected by PASS-Key(R) II system or engine will not crank or start.
NOTE:
Ensure battery is fully charged before performing this procedure. Programming theft deterrent relearn will take about 30 minutes.
- Turn ignition off. Turn ignition on. SECURITY warning indicator light should come on for about 10 minutes, then turn off. When indicator light turns off, turn ignition off for 5 seconds.
- Repeat previous step 2 more times, for a total of 3 10-minute ignition cycles. Turn ignition off. Start engine. Vehicle should now start.
