Transmitter Resynchronization Verification

If a transmitter does not seem to work anymore and you are sure the battery is good, try the Panic button. If the Panic button does not work the transmitter is bad. But if the Panic does beep the horn and flash the lights, the transmitter is out of synchronization. With the RFA system, there are two ways a transmitter can get out of synchronization:

^ Changing the transmitters battery.
^ Pressing the transmitter buttons too many times while out of range of the vehicle.

To resynchronize the transmitters, do not jumper the DLC. Press and hold the "LOCK" and the "UNLOCK" buttons for about 8 seconds until the horn chirps and the lights flash. The transmitter is now synchronized.
